Our exhibition: Leidsche Rijn

As some of you might know, I've been doing a photojournalism minor at school. And yesterday.. We officially opened it our exhibition. Four of my photos where included in the exhibition and there were so much people who came to see it. It's great to see your work on a wall the first time. Our class had 5 different groups with a total of 18 students.

But what was it about? We all had to shoot a serie of photos in a part of Utrecht called: Leidsche Rijn. With a group of 4 we had to pick a main subject. And as it's winter and dark really early, we decided to take: Leidsche Rijn at Night. And with this subject we could do anything we want. I decided to go for provision of services, and as my dad work as a Medical ambulance nurse. I could use some of his connections. I had 2 nights with the police, one with the ambulance and one with the fire arms. It was really interesting to see, but hard to take photos. But the biggest photo you see. (in the middle) Is one I shot with the police! The ones in the upper right corner are mine as well. After the opening some of my friends and I went out for a 'goodbye-dinner' as it's the last time I'll see some of them before I'm leaving to London. We had such an amazing time!

I really enjoyed this minor in my course. As we had the possibility to pick this as an extra. If you guys want to see my entire photo series, let me know as I might make a blog post about it.

Oh the dress I'm wearing is from Sans Online if you're wondering, the denim jacket is by Only. The bag is really old but I guess it was from H&M.
