One of these days

Today is one of these days when I decide to make a day functional. I started out really well. Woke up 8:45 and went to the gym at 9.30. An hour of spinning and half an hour of stomach muscle exercises. As there is work tonight I planned on doing some grocery shopping. It didn't happen. As I decided I could do it tomorrow as well.
Instead.. I watched a lot of Youtube videos. Of which I wanted to share two. I'm currently busy working on my own Daenerys Targaryen costume, which I'll wear in about 2 weeks. I'm always looking for other costumes as well.  (yes I'll make a blog post about this later)

But for now I wanted to share these two videos.

If I'd want any of these costumes? A female Batman costume, yes that would be cool. 

Mummies & Pharaos?

New York City

The summer holiday just ended. But I'm already planning a new holiday. And as New York has been on my list for a very long time. My boyfriend and I are trying to save up and go to New York next year. I even started saving money already! As I'll probably be graduated next year at this time, our plan is to go in September, another year to wait and plan. But the plan is definitely there. We want to go when school has started again and the heat is gone. 

I've only been on a holiday outside of Europe once. When I was 15 years old I went to South Africa with my sister and parents. It was an amazing experience and as New York will be something totally different, I can't wait to see my first bits of America. Another thing? Photography in New York? Yes please!

I dearly hope this will all turn out well. I'll work hard and try to get the money in time.

Pumped up kicks

As I try to save some money for a New York trip, another internship in London and new camera gear. I couldn't help but buying these beautiful boots. And guess where I got them? That's right, these are H&M shoes. I own a pair of Sendra brown cowboy boots which was a worthy but very expensive buy.  So these definitely did well in the category affordable and very beautiful. Even my boyfriend was alright with me buying another pair of shoes because these were 'cool biker boots'!

Shooting Star

This is not really an outfit of the day. But yes, you're able to see what I was wearing. This was my first day of shooting for my photojournalism minor. I'll show more of that later.

But what am I wearing? My top is simple and black, it's loose and from H&M. My denim jacket is vintage and if I remember correctly I got it at the Rok!It at Brick Lane. My leggings just came in this week and I've been looking for some affordable galaxy leggings for a long time. I found these at romwe.com. My shoes? Simple Converse, but very comfortable.

Harry Potter's got some moves!

Harry's got some MOVES! And of course we can't forget about Voldemort. As I can't stop watching this video, I had to share. If you like this, you should definitely check out more of the Hillywood Show videos, they're absolutely amazing and every video they makes amazes me.

Sorry for not posting for the last few days but I've been extremely busy with work and I'm almost getting back to school. The next post will be pictures of my new room, so keep your eyes open for that.
