One horse town

I haven't even blogged after coming back in the Netherlands. Shame on me. In the mean time, I got a new job, a boyfriend and I got back to school. This is one of the reasons I've been very busy, plus I met up with a lot of friends which I hadn't seen for a long time because of 5 month internship in London. I've got a lot of fun stuff coming up but already miss London, especially because of me living in a one horse town back here. When I returned I decided to go back living with my parents for a while. They're getting a second car which I'm able to use as well. Luckily I'm able to go somewhere now.
I already planned a trip back to London in March to visit my boyfriend which I'm really excited about. My first concert in the Netherlands happened last week, the Maine. And I'm thinking about getting tickets for Rock Werchter or Pinkpop. I'm glad to be closer to family and friends again, but left some friends and my love for the UK behind in London. There might be a big chance of me returning to London.

Finally an outfit. That's right, I'm posting an outfit post.
Brick Lane, one of my favourite places to shop, and only on a 15 minute walk from our apartment. Only 1,5 week to go in London. And Brick Lane will definitely one of the places I'll miss, together with my internship, collegues and the amazing vibe. After an entire week of wearing 'accurate' work clothes. Putting myself into London style for the weekend feels great. So I put a hat on, some Dr. Martens and a leather jacket. And voila!

As I have a lot of pictures of my wonderful Christmas and first NYE in London. I really wanted to share this video with you guys. Of course I had a lovely 1st and 2nd (that's how we Dutch people celebrate Christmas.. In 2 days) with family. But we decided to have a "3rd" day with friends. I made a video about this which turned out quite super cute. Not all of my friends we're able to come over but these people were.
We celebrated it at a friends house and had a wonderful time. The channel it's on is my new youtube channel called: theperksofnieke. I'm gonna try to keep it up to date and post more vlogs now I've got a DSLR which is able to film. Hope you enjoy!

I only got 3 more weeks in London before moving back to my parents house in the Netherlands. It makes me quite sad actually.

Oh hi there, no I'm not dead. But yes back in the Netherlands for Christmas. With a new Canon 600D and a new haircut. I don't have excuses for my absence but an internship in London is busy. I'm happy to be home with family and friends for a few days and enjoy my rest. I'll try to post some outfits soon again, especially my Christmas outfit, I bought the most amazing skirt.
But a very merry Christmas to everyone!

This is the second time I’m writing a report about A7, but jup Dutch and English. I’ll try to keep it short. (not gonna happen!) First thing you need to know, Asylum 7 is an Supernatural convention organised by Rogue Events. This was the 7th annual and we decided to go and take a visit to Birmingham!

FRIDAY
Underground, train from London and Birmingham International Airport. Everything is going splendid and we’re meeting up with Britt and Sara. (the other Dutchies) We have some contact with other attendees and can’t wait to go for registration. When we get there we notice the queue.. In which we ended up for the next 2 hours. But hey, it’s all worth it! We meet some other fans and I’m going to mention some people already, Cara and Craig, you guys are so amazing! We finally arrive at registration and I decide to buy an: extra Misha photo, a group photo, a photo with Rob Benedict and a triple with Julian, Katie and Lindsey. We’re group L, so we miss out on the M&G’s and coffee lounges. Sad face.

The ‘Real Ghostbusters party’ is such a blast! We’re team Free Will, Britt is Dean, Sara is Sam, Sietske is Bobby and I’m a Leviathan Castiel. We rock on Kansas, AC/DC, Survivor and all the other rock Supernatural songs. We even learn some dances like the ‘timeworp’ and some Doctor Who dance. (yes SuperWho is real)

Together with Georgie, Beth and some other lovely people we decide to watch the ‘Slash Fiction’ livestream in death silence. (stupid hotel manager guy) We only sleep for 3 hours but WHO CARSE?!

SATURDAY
The day on which we line-up far to late for Misha’s panel but manage to score a Rob Benedict coffee lounge. Misha’s panel is hilarious, and we’re getting our first photo taken. I decide to go for a cute hug, which turned out pretty nice! We also get our Rob Benedict and group photo taken. (I love them all!) And I managed to get all my autographs in one day.

Plus we get Misha to taste our ‘pepernoten’ which is a typical Dutch candy we brought for him. And yes he liked it! We also give this package to Rob in the coffee lounge and he gives us a hug and lots of thank you’s. He’s so sweet! Also I fell in love with Julian, this guy.. Is amazing and absolutely the opposite of what Death is.

The Jason Manns & Louden Swain concert is beyond amazing and even Julian and Misha decide to come up on stage and dance. AMAZING! What a day.

SUNDAY
We decide to get up early and try to get to the front. And yes it worked! Britt and Sietske even manage to get Misha coffee lounge. Misha’s pannel is glorious, he talks about Vicky (his wife) and his 10 year anniversary, and yes, he shed a tear! There’s some West (Misha's son) too and it was just.. really great!

We get our second Misha photo taken and have some kind of ‘I’m going to die’ experience at the Julian/Katie/Lindsey picture. I started to love Mitch as I really disliked Samuel. Loved the last panel and definitely don’t want this con to ever end. Oh and my creepy luck (according to my friends, I win a lot of stuff) decided to let me win a DVD. Thank you to Rogue, the volunteers, Misha, Julian, Mitch, Rob, Katie, Lindsey, Amy, Louden Swain, Jason and mostly to all the people I’ve met and the Supernatural fandom. Never gonna forget this weekend and on to Aecon 3!

Hi guys, I'm still alive and very busy. So sorry for not posting anything for 2 weeks. My weekend mostly exist in grocery shopping and rest. Next week I'm off for a mini vacation to Birmingham. I'm having such an amazing time in London. Today (and tomorrow) I'll be found on the Entertainment & Media Show (Collectormania). My nerdy heart goes boomboom, and I had such an amazing time. Tomorrow I'm gonna do some photo ops with Maisie William (Arya in Game of Thrones) and I'm considering a picture with Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter). I can't wait to go again. Because all my cosplay costumes stayed at home, I decided to dress up like this. Hope you all like it!

This 'cockney' (London girl) tunes in again. I'm so sorry for the lack of updates but the 5 days a week work days are exhausting! Especially when you're not used to cleaning a house and cooking when you get home. Now it's weekend I have some time for myself. What resulted in a day of shopping by myself. I am looking for the perfect jeans for quite a while now, I decided to get myself a pair of Levi's. I'm a 'Demi Curve' girl and decided to go with a lighter blue.

I discovered some amazing vintage shops here and finally had a break from my internship. Epic and very entertaining. London is amazing!

Another year past

This is a belated goodbye/birthday party post. I'm now 20 years old (since August 26). I celebrated with the enitre family together with a goodbye party since I'm leaving to London in 4 days! Tuesday night our boat will depart and me and 2 of my best friend will get of for 5 months.

This post contains some of my beautiful gifts. Two beautiful pieces of fashionology, the necklace from my parents and sister and the bracelet from one of my best friends. Further on I got what I asked for euro's and pounds, a book called: The Power of Six, which is a sequal of I Am Number Four (definite recommendation), and a lot of birthday cards.

The ice-cake and Chinese lanterns were one of the highlights next to all the fun we had. Me and my group of best friends let up three lanterns, special and very pretty. I had a wonderful birthday and will miss every single one of the people who were there.

Rethymnon, Crete

This vacation was filled with fun, friends, epic dinners on the beach, sun and long walks on Converse, All Stars for 6 hours. (which resulted into aching muscles) I'm a bit late with this post as I'm already back in Holland for a week now. I finally got to see the sun and even got a bit of a tan. (as that is nearly impossible)

Hello all of you, I returned from Crete yesterday. As I'm waiting for all the pictures I'll share my first 2 pictures. On the first picture, one of the boys who was with us is missing. But we had the best time! I'll share more of this on a next post. (when all the pictures arrived)

I'm so sorry for failing on my blog this week. But as I still don't like excuses it was hectic on work this week, as it was my last week I helped out. Today was the final day and everyone was super sweet, which gave me a nice goodbye. All though I'll miss my co-workers of the Vero Moda.

As I finally got my official vacation now and I'll be packing all day, this will be some inspiration for outfits I'll bring to Crete. I can't wait to finally see the sun and see. Oh and another by the way, I bought tickets for another Supernatural convention in May (yes you need to buy that already or it's sold out). I've got some very exciting news to share, which totally made my week, month.. year!

I got hired at an internship in.. LONDON! As I'm in my 3rd year of college and need to get off for an internship, I've been busy arranging this for a very long time. But yesterday I received the good news. I'm officialy hired. I'll be in London this September until the end of January. The company works on web/design/production/video, I'll be helping out with video/production projects, design, marketing, promotion and research. Luckily two of my friends will be there too. (the coincidence) And we will be looking for an appartment/room this and the next month. I'm super excited and can't wait to get started!

It's just another day of "summer" vacation. As I don't like complaining about the weather, for July this weather isn't normal. Rain, gray skies and a temperature around 15 degrees. No, this is not my defination of a perfect summer. It gave me the permission to wear my new leather jacket though. And as I only went out for groceries I decided to wear sandals instead of pumps. I've stuck with Harry until the very end

Waiting, McDonalds at 2am, no sleep, more waiting, screaming, laughing, singing and crying. Yes that pretty much summs up the Harry Potter premiere in London. I'd been waiting for this moment for 11 years. I was there from the very beginning and was there at "the end". I still don't have words for the moment, we waited on Trafalgar Square for 28 hours and were so happy when we finally, after 3 hours, received our wristbands, to get in and out of the square. It was such a special moment for me. Not only just being there, but seeing Emma Watson who has been my rolemodel since the age of 13, and just the fact of being there with all of the fans. I will never forget it. If you've got time watch the end speech, it's so beautiful, all the fans plus Emma, J.K. and Rupert were crying. (or sobbing, yes including me)

Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home. It will never be really over.

The adventure of Prague

Prague is such a beautiful city, it's very old as it survived most of the war. Four days was the perfect amount of days to visit a city like this. I had a great time with my sister and parents as I decided to go with them on this citytrip. The buildings are beautiful and it is definitely not as cheap as you except an East-European country to be. My feet still hurt from the amount of walking and the days of work I immediatly did after the trip. That's one of the reasons it took me a while to blog.
The blog of my trip to London (the week before Prague) will come soon after this one. I received almost all the pictures so look out for some Harry Potterness. (yes I ofcourse saw the movie already, tomorrow I'll be seeing it for the 2nd time)

Emma looked beautiful, she's been my icon for such a long time now. I even shed one of my many tears when she came on.

I cried, I screamed, I laughed and I waited for 28 hours to see the Harry Potter worldpremiere in London. 3rd row, and in front of the stage. I even got autographs! I had an amazing time and I wish I could go back, it is really the last movie and I'm kinda upset about it. A more detailed post will come next week, and soon after that my Prague post will show up. I'm once again gone until Thursday cause and way to busy to post more. See you soon again!

So much of my favorite shows and movies are involving my life at the moment. Don't blame me for being a complete fan girl, but yesterday was such a great day. Me and a couple of Dutch Supernatural fans decided to organize a fan meeting. And this group of people showed up! We went for a picknick which was such great fun. When most of the people left to get their trains me and three of the girls got another drink with me in "Stairway to Heaven", a rock cafe in Utrecht. There we decided to buy tickets for Asylum7, which is a Supernatural convention in Birmingham! I'm so excited already and can't wait for the next meeting. (the t-shirt I'm wearing is custom made by me)

I'll be leaving for London tomorrow, where I'll be one of the fans camping out for the Harry Potter worldpremiere. Hope to post a blog this Saterday. Sunday I will once again leave for a 5-day trip to Prague with my parents.

Here comes fangirl Nieke again. As I told you guys I went to see Rupert Grint, Oliver Phelps and James Phelps in Amsterdam yesterday. And yes I scored autographs, of all three of them. The security didn't handed it all well cause we were in the front, but they opened up the fences next to us. Which made us stand farther in the back, which sucked. But still I've got another change next week in LONDON where the world premiere and I will be! I can't wait!

This post needs to be on my blog, as I've been and always will be a BIG Harry Potter fan, after 11 years of being a fan the last movie will release in 2 weeks. And as this is really the last one, me and 5 of my friends and 8 other Dutchies I know are visiting the worldpremiere in LONDON. Yes, we are seriously taking a flight to watch all the celebs and shop there of course. This Thursday Rupert Grint, Oliver & James Phelps will be in Amsterdam and ofcourse, I will be there too. I'm still waiting for my ordered HP t-shirts to come in, but I already made this one (the first picture) myself. I'm not afraid to say I'm an obsessed fan anymore, as I was earlier. My nickname on primaire school was Hermione, hence my always bombastic brown hair and obsession for the series. I'm proud to say I read all the books, proud to always have followed the series even before the movies. Proud to say Emma Watson has always been one of my role models and that her autograph is still listed in my room.
I am a Harry Potter fan and will never ever be afraid to say so!

I decided to take a day of as I still got one exam to go. Me and my friend, Ezra took
the train to Utrecht and checked out some sale. As I said not to spend to much money,
this worked out pretty well. I bought LOTS of stuff for the amount of money I spend.

Pinkpop - day 3

I don't think any further information is needed. The 3rd day. The t-shirt I'm wearing is an

impulsive purchase I did on Pinkpop. I just loved the design to much. (plus the band)

Pinkpop - day 1

This blog will be split in to 3 posts, which will follow somewhere this week.
This is the first one. As I told you guys I went to PINKPOP this weekend. Which is a
music festival in Landgraaf, the Netherlands. It was my first festival ever and I loved it
SO much. This are some pictures of the atmosphere which was amazing. The
bands/artists on the pictures are Lifehouse and Coldplay. The other bands I've seen on
Saterday were: Simple Plan and Manic Street Preachers. I had the time of my life,
the other 2 days are yet to come!

Pinkpop, I'm ready!

Today was the last day of deadlines and the busiest time of school, I only got 2 exams
and a very important presentation to go now. That was some time for celebration and
preparation. Me and 2 friends went out for Starbucks on which a haircut followed. It's even
shorter than last time. After that me and my mom did some grocery shopping, for
PINKPOP this weekend. I already chose my outfits and packed all my stuff. I'm so
excited to just hang out with friends and enjoy some great music. Pictures of fun

Delivery day

My Olympus E-510 welcomed his little brother the Sony DSC-HX9V today. It's an early birthday

present from my parents. (my birthday is August 26th) But because of some festivals and

vacations coming up, for which my beloved DSLR is quite heavy and big, this one tunes in

and says hi. This Sony has at least 16,2 megapixels and made the pictures (except

for the first one) above. Quite good huh?

I ordered some more and it all came in today. As the amazing Ymke (go follow her),

MADE (yes custom-made) Supernatural shoes for me, which I love. I still can't

get over how epic they are, I chose the quote myself and just love love love them.

The other two pieces are a two-finger feather ring and nerd-glass necklace from

sieradenkistje.nl, I couldn't help myself of buying those. I hope you all had a lovely day.

what I bought, a little bottle on a chain, and guess what's in it? Salt and a lucifer, so

SALT AND BURN! I bought 5 in total, the other ones went to some of my friends

who are as crazy about the show as I am. Go check it out sometimes.

title. Mostly because a song or artist sets my mood for an outfit of the day. When I

and Kansas, on which an evening of amazing old school music followed.
So today I decided to put out a "rocker outfit", Aerosmith t-shirt, Queen necklace
plus some fitting panties and skirt. Oh how I love the oldies.

I went out to see a friend of mine at the photostudio she's working. We decided to take

some outfit pictures. I'm loving my new midi-skirt as I'm not able to wear a maxi-skirt
with my tinyness. I wanted to turn and twist all day with this skirt, the fabric is so
flexible. Plus I think it's a must-have for this summer.

After a night of all the three Pirates of the Caribbean movies and 3 hours of sleep we were
ready for the pre-premiere of On Stranger Tides. As I always loved these movies (and yes
I was very much Orlando Bloom obsessed), I was once again a 14-year old girl bouncing
on my chair. I loved it and y'all should check it out!
As you see I dressed up, I won the t-shirt and the bandana is a leftover of my Jack Sparrow
costume. Bring on some more Jack Sparrow (and Philip) for the next movie!

My week starts to get better as I am starting to feel better. I decided to grab some blue
flower skirt out of my closet and wear it with something easy, but still cute, lace top.

Started the day with a blazer, but the sun made me take it off.

Due the day I received an email, I won 2 tickets for the upcoming Pirates

of the Caribbean movie, last week I already won a t-shirt and hat, so I'm totally

ready to put on a pirate inspired look this weekend, watch me!

This is definitely NOT my best week, after losing all my pictures as described
in my last post my body decided to gave in. So I became ill. I stayed in bed for
two days, able to watch some TV and sleep. (eat not included) Bye homework.

Hi guys! I'm so sorry for not posting for a week. But something terrible happened

(nothing life threatening), but I lost all of my pictures on my DSLR of this week.

It sucks pretty bad cause I made some amazing pictures of the "liberty event"
(bevrijdingsdag) in Haarlem. Which are all gone now. (I'm still trying to get them back) But
I thought you all should know why. Again I'm so sorry but this errors just can't be undone.

As it was Queensday today, a national holiday in the Netherlands (Koninginnendag).

I decided not to dress up in orange but just put my Star Wars shirt on. As I'm not really

liking orange plus it does no good for my hair color. I had the best day with one of

Biking is such a waste for my hair, I started to use my bike again to get to school. But
when I finally get off, my hair is one plump of fluffyness. Except for that I don't think
biking is that bad, the nature is beautiful here so I'm basically riding through the forest,
but still please don't mess with my hair. And all the flies and aching things,
you can all go away as well please.

Are you loving the bag as much as I do? And the good thing is.. It's only 22 euros! I walked

into the New Yorker where I do not come that often, but two of these beauties were staring

at me like lunatics. Same for the ring, had to have it, thanks H&M for leaving the last one.
One of my best friend who was with me convinced me to get the bag, next to lack of money..

Unfortunately the sun disappeared again, so I had to get out this blazer to wear, I combined

it with the t-shirt I bought this weekend for a little more "toughness".

You know those days? On which you're just in the mood to wear something which isn't
fashionable at all. I had one of those days today. I just stand there before my closet,
thinking "maybe I should just wear my Converse today." Boring but very comfortable.
All though I thought the necklace made up for the simple outfit, the little owly jar
makes it right. Plus my hair needs some more attention these days which makes it harder
to actually be on time.

My sister and I enjoyed a lot of numnums today. We went out for a lovely brunch which

turned into a chocolate fountain. How I could feel the calories slip inside, it
was so lovely! Plus the weather is already summery which made us ache for some shopping.

Haircut

Hiya guys! After some shopping with my mom today, I got myself a haircut.

It's a big change and I really have to get used to it, but it's short! I was aching for

a bob-line for a while now and decided to just go for it. My hair is difficult, fluffy

and thick, but a little work in the morning wouldn't mind.

For the 4th time already I went to the Elf Fantasy Fair in "Castle de Haar" (Haarzuilens)

I went as a confessor in Con Dar (Legend of the Seeker/Sword of Truth) this year.

I had such an amazing weekend as I went two days. I attended a short movie workshop,

in which we made a movie in only 7 hours. I attended a dance workshop by "the fellowship",

yes the one from Lord of the Rings. I spend way to much money once again but

I can't wait for the next fair and hope you guys enjoy a bunch of this pictures.

For a school assignment called: "creative thinking". I had to make a draw diary
and try to make drawing for 6 weeks. Last week I had a presentation about it,
which was kinda hard and personal. The video above shows my 20 personal choices
out of the 33 I made. I don't know my grade yet but we will see what he thinks about it.
(Youtube swapped the audio, so this wasn't my original choice)

Plus I've got some other exciting news, me and Raymond (check out his blog) decided

to take a chance on the "Project 365", make a picture everyday. I dearly hope it will

work out and you'll all see my first picture tomorrow, wish me luck!

Sporty me

My little sister ended up 2rd place. Jup. Little sister. She did a great job!

I've always been a busy girl who can't sit still. A girl with a lot of hobby's,

enjoying sport, fashion and being nerdy. And this weekend I was closing off one of my

biggest passions ever. Yes, I officially quit skiing. After 10 years of regional matches,

training and visits to the mountains. I decided it was enough, I always loved my sport and

enjoyed it for 13 years of my life. This weekend was the last match I competed in.

I ended up 1st place in the slalom match, 1st place slalom overall (of 3 matches),

3rd place in the parallel slalom, and 3rd place overall parallel slalom. I don't think

any of you actually understand what I'm saying, but I just wanted to say, I'm glad and

happy to have done this all these years.

I took me a while to do an update again but I just returned from a 3-day trip London.

I visited one of my best friends, Anita there and had such a blast. We shopped,

did some city-seeing (all though this was my 4th time in London) and I even

Yesterday I told you guys already, I was thinking of some changes. I cleaned up
for a little and changed one and another. After a little thinking I decided to turn this
blog into a photography/fashion blog. My first pictures of the new changed blog are
above and made March 20th on the Dutch Championships skiing in Uden. My ski suit
isn't the most charming outfit but it suits the sport. I'll try to make some daily updates
and show some more outfits. I would make some serious afford, promise.

First, I'm so sorry for not blogging this long. I've been super busy and I've been out of the country for 3 weeks already. I've been off for a vacation with friend in France. Plus a training weekend skiing in Austria. Lots of hard work but a lot of fun as well. I've started another period on school and am planning to finish my Portfolio website as soon as I can.

But the thing I actually wanted to tell you guys about.. I bought some amazing new shoes today. I don't know if you're familair with the boot brand "Sendra", but their cowboy boots are the most beautiful ever. And inside me there's a girl who loves Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban and the country culture. SO I couldn't help my self when I saw one of those beauties in sale. And here I am with this two pretty's.

2010, I loved you!

First thing I want to say about 2010. This year was the best so far. And no I’m not joking, overall this year has been SO much fun. Filled with friends, love, music, books, shopping, amazing movies, fangirling, photography (and pictures) and travelling. I did things I wanted to do all my life, I became 19 years old, I dyed my hair red, I got a short haircut. I made new friends.. and this is just the start of an amazing time. Here I go.

2010 was a year filled with amazing movies and of course this asks for a monthly (or even more) cinema visit. So I’ve seen a LOT of movies this year. Sherlock Holmes, Avatar 3D (twice), Valentine’s Day, Alice In Wonderland 3D, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Prince of Persie, Legend of the Guardians 3D, Eclipse, The Last Airbender, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 1 (twice), Robin Hood and The Chronicles of Narnia: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER 3D (twice).
Thanks to Robin, Ezra, Khalid, Sietske, Anita, Nathalie, Eva and Xavier. (I’m sorry if I forgot you, thank you as well!) You guys were always in for a cinema visit.

Speaking of friends, an amazing group was made this year. As we all love concerts, movies and secretly being nerdy, all so alike, but still so different. The nerdherd was set together! Robin, Ezra, Sietske, Khalid, Anita and me. We don’t have to be together every week. As we all have Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook to keep in touch. Our monthly get-togethers are always amazing. Whatever we do, visit a movie, enjoying a concert, Halloween, celebrating nerdmass or New Year Eve together, it’s always guarantied of an day of fun!

My love for music and addiction for concerts continued this year. And luckily I didn’t have to go there alone. The first on: John Mayer, followed by Switchfoot, Lifehouse, Lady Gaga, Jimmy Eat World, Justin Nozuka and Michael Buble. Plus the events I’ve been to. Summer of Twilight (Laura Jansen performed), The NL Twilight Convention (as a volunteer, had an AMAZING day) Parkpop (Justin Nozuka and Alphabeat performed), Elf Fantasy Fair in Haarzuilens (Utrecht, where I’d met Shane Rangi) AND Elf Fantasy Fair Arcen.

To stay with the events, I’ve seen two musicals this year, Joseph and We Will Rock You. Plus a soccer game: FC Utrecht – Fc Groningen.

I reached a big highlight and big achievement of all my hard work this year. I reached 3^rd PLACE at the Dutch Championships skiing this year, and YES I became 3^rd of ALL the girls. Skiing is my major sport since I was 6, I trained very hard and decided that the season 2009/2010 was my last year of the hard work. Of course I’m still on the ski club once in a while, and I’ll compete in a few matches, but the time just isn’t there.

We’ll continue on travelling, cause I’ve done this A LOT this year. I’ve been to Austria, Reutte (together with the ski team) for a weekend to train. I’ve been to the Dutch Championships in Austria and competed. (team and parents, 2 weeks) I’ve been to London together with Robin, 4 days in May.
The Summer vacation I’ve been to Mimizan, France to surf with a girl group of 5. Plus I went to Slovenia and Croatia with my parents. (and even went to Bovec were a little part of “Prince Caspian” was filmed)
Plus I went on a camp as mentor in Someren (Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands).
The last one, which began as a joke, but after searching the internet and fangirling about it all the time. I went to London for the worldpremiere of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader together with two of my best friend, Robin and Sietske. We booked a flight, a hostel and stayed there 2 days. We’ve seen the actors and even scored some autographs, and YES one of my goals in life were achieved, I’ve met WILLIAM MOSELEY. I’ve had the time of my life!

I entered my 2^nd year of the 4-year during Bachelor course Communication and Media Design, which I enjoy very much! I finally switched jobs, from snackbar-girl into a shop-assistant at the Vero Moda.
I did my very first official photoshoot together with my sister PLUS photographed my very first photoshoot. I want to say thank you to the people I met on internet as well, you guys rock!

I’ve been busier then ever, spend more money then ever and had more fun then ever! I end up 2010 with a smile. I look back at 2010 with a smile and I will NEVER forgot this year. Thank you mom, dad, Eline (sister) for making everything possible and the love and fun you gave, and thanks to all my friend (you know who you are) for making this an amazing year. And last but not least, thank you 2010, hopefully 2011 will give me another amazing year!

First: MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I had the most amazing time today, I already celebrated "Nerdmass" with 5 of my best friends last Wednesday. We danced, ate, had fun and lots of presents! But today (REAL Christmas) my grandma and aunt came over, we took a walk in the woods, and yes it's still beautiful with all the snow. I was crazy enough to keep on my Christmas dress and Welly's. It worked out pretty well. I got the most amazing gifts on both days. Tomorrow is another day of Christmas, the Netherlands celebrates 2nd Christmas day so yeah! I'm already excited!

London: Narnia worldpremiere

And I'm back, still SO excited about everything that happened. It was such a fantasy, it looked like a dream and yet I'm back. With prove and autographs. I've seen all the stars, got some autographs and screamed my lungs out. The guard told us we were crazy, flying over for just the premiere and some shopping. The girls we were talking with were stunned by our English. We totally froze our feet of, but at the end it was all worth it.
I don't know if I told you all but I'm a big William Moseley fan, as I was shocked by his new hairdo, way to long! I was so excited to see him, we screamed but he didn't came over for an autograph. BUT Georgie Henley, Will Poulter, Shane Rangi, Matt and Rebecca (from X-Factor UK) did! We already found some videos where we can here ourselves scream. Oh how I loved things like this. It was amazing beyond words. Can I go back in time? (oh and ofcourse I did some shopping the day after, more about that will come)

I wore my skirt for the first time today. The photos didn't turn out the way I wanted but it was to dark. And because of school I didn't had the time to make pictures earlier. But this is what it is. Plus I've got a haircut! It's a lot shorter then it was. And I still have to get used to it but all in all I like it very much! I've got such a busy time coming up but I'm going to try to keep you all up to date. This Monday I've got a Lady Gaga concert coming up and the day after I'm going to London for 2 days. And of course I still have to go to school. Busy, busy, but I've to enjoy live while I can!

Finally it was there, this morning 5h45 my alarm clock went off. Super early but we had to be there this year. As my first "designer for H&M" experience, I thought there were very few (mostly) girls. I We arrived at 7h30 and were aloud to enter the Lanvin line at 8h40 (in Utrecht). There was a group of 50 girls before us. I wanted my skirt and dearly hoped I was the only one. I wasn't clearly BUT I was able to get my skirt in the right size plus the lipstick I wanted. Mission completed! I loved the bag, clothing cover and scarve I got. Thank you H&M.

It's getting cold so fast. Not to talk about the darkness. I like winter, the snow, the layers of clothing. But the cold and darkness are 2 things I don't like about winter. That's why I want to share some pictures I got today. They gave me the summer feeling right away. They've been made in May/June in Scheveningen and London. I couldn't help myself by sharing them. I had such a great summer and this pictures shows all the fun we had. My life would be so much harder with all those sweet people in my life. So thank you for everything, I love you all.

You all heard probably have heard about bloggers being busy, well I think I'm one of them at the moment. Currently it's all sorted down, luckily! But last week I had to finish a project and make 2 exams. Luckily I passed both exams and the project. But there was some relaxing after Friday which was my last day of the exam/finishing week. Ofcourse work was coming first but my first ski match of the season, I ended up 2nd place. After this a couple of friends and me decided to celebrate Halloween. (I live in the Netherlands so we don't celebrate it over here, pity!) I ended up as a zombie something. In normal life I hate horror movies, but Halloween is the one exception for me watching horrors. Three horror movies on one night was way to much for me. I'm finished for the rest of the year, brrr.

Well the ice cold days have started again here, when I woke this morning. First thing.. nervous about my exam, second.. the thermometer told me it was 1 °C NOT so much fun. Even with my fluffy socks who kept me warm. But the open gap between my skirt and socks was red of coldness. I would say.. I haven't missed the cold at all. I like the snow on ski vacation but on my bike it isn't fun at ALL!
One thing that did make my happy today, when I was walking towards my bike. A man who passed me told me randomly I looked nice, that made my day.

Well it's been a few days since my last blog but school is killing me at the moment. (exams and finishing projects) But for a lovely day off, I went shopping with my mom. It has been a while so we decided to go to Amsterdam. We had such a great day, had a numnum beagle, ate some delicious pasta, amazing shopping and at the end of the day.. unbearable pain in our legs. And of course I bought some amazing stuff.

For the first time in my one year old life as a photographer I did a photoshoot. (well as in a "real" one) We have to make a magazine this period. We called it LEAD magazine and I got assigned to the category of Fashion. I knew immediatly, my long story just had to be a photoshoot. So after setting this all up, yesterday was the day. All taking clothes with us to school (+ my camera), getting ready for the shoot in a little room meant for teacher meetings, tried to get ready the best we can. With Robin, Amber, Emily, Sjoerd and Roger on my right hand everything went great! And this are some of the pictures which came out. (I still have to edit half of it and have to choose the best six)

I haven't shopped for a month, which is a very long time for me. But because of my lack of money I decided I had to save. The maximum I wanted to spend today was 30 euros. AND I did spend: 34 euros. Go me, I only crossed the maximum with 4 euros. I absolutely adore the black wedges, been looking for those for a while now, and I got those for only 19 euros. Thank you Primark for being cheap. The clothing were a big dissapointment this time, only some of the jackets were ok.

I decided to bring my camera today and while cycling to the train station I crossed this place. In the morning the weather was still acceptable, and this is what came out.

I guess this is my 1000th blog and now it's not because of the lack of blogging I did. No, I just thought Blogspot was a much more intresting place to start blogging. So I switched from Wordpress to Blogspot, and from Dutch to English.

This blog is gonna be my place of inspiration, fashion, reviews and more. First of all I love shopping and am currently a red-haired girl who likes to change her curly hair once in a while.
